Your car will be inspected for damages and the best method of repair decided. We will book your car in for repairs at our repair facility in Smithfield and make sure you're aware of what the average repair time will be so you can plan ahead.

You have the right to choose who repairs your vehicle. Don't be misled to believe otherwise - we work for all insurance companies.

Claim lodgement

Take advantage of our claims professional who is here to assist you with your claim lodgement, in the comfort of our office. Our customer service staff will simplify the process which can be time consuming, stressful and difficult.


We will make sure that your vehicle is inspected thoroughly, not just on the outside but also on the inside where we can identify possible, hidden damage. We will dismantle your vehicle to check that everything is in full working order and unaffected. A quotation will be prepared in consultation with you, and with your authorisation, all parts are pre-ordered with an expected repair time established.


Our customer service staff will contact you after the assessment is completed to breakdown the outcome, including exactly what has been approved by the assessor and what the next step is. If there are any delays in the authorisation of your claim, you will be notified immediately and kept up to date every step of the way.

Insurance approval

Of course, repairs cannot commence until your vehicle has undergone assessment and approval by your insurer. Insurance companies vary and their approval times can be different, however, at Exclusive, we will make sure we do everything in our power to gain authority as soon as possible.

Parts ordering

Sometimes, vehicle parts are ordered from interstate and overseas from countries like Asia and Europe. If there are any unforeseen delays that are beyond our control, we will notify you immediately.

Repair times

Don’t wait any longer than you have to. At Exclusive, we’re transparent and efficient to ensure our timeframes are met with consistency so you can get back into your routine, fast.

  • Front or rear bumper - 2 – 3 days
  • Small work – 3 – 5 days
  • Medium work - 1 week
  • Large work – 2 weeks
  • Extra large work - 3 + weeks


All our advanced repair work is conducted in strict compliance with manufacturer specifications. This means that each vehicle is subject to a quality assurance checklist conducted by the manager before it progresses to the paint stage. Each vehicle is measured and reset using manufacturing approved aligning equipment, which will ensure the settings match factory specifications and things are completed to the best possible standard.


At Exclusive, we keep you in the know about how your vehicle is travelling (or will be soon!). We will contact you upon receiving your car’s authorisation and provide you with continual updates as required, especially with more complex or timely jobs. Preparation and paint

The surface condition of each vehicle will need to undergo inspection prior to any painting. This includes sanding, hi-fill, curing and dust extraction before the paint is applied in our state-of-the-art, dust free, climate controlled spray booth. The vehicle is then baked at a set temperature and time to allow for paint curing. This process ensures paint durability and a factory quality finish so your vehicle’s new paint is as perfect as they come.


Each vehicle is refitted and undergoes a last fitment quality check to ensure that all parts and panels are fitted in accordance with manufacturer specifications.


Once the fresh paintwork has dried, the vehicle is unmasked and de-nibbed to remove any minor imperfections in the paintwork. The vehicle and panels are then machine buffed & polished for an extra shine that makes all the difference.

Final check

Finally, each vehicle is washed and vacuumed to a high standard and a complete quality inspection is conducted. We detail using the highest quality car care products available to provide outstanding results so when your keys are handed back to you, it’s sparkling clean and better than new.
